Meeting in Asenovgrad (Bulgaria)

Within the second year of implementation of the European Comenius program entitled «Hand in Hand for the Environment Protection» two teachers from our school visited the vocational school “Tzar Ivan Asen II” in Asenovgrad Bulgaria between the 26th of May and the 1st of June 2012.

 

The main purpose of the final meeting was the final report of the program. Also, one of the purposes of the meeting was the visit of students from different countries.

 

  1. Each school made a presentation on the activities and dissemination of results and actions took place in March, April and May on alternative energy sources and products (brochures, posters, presentations) and the comparative results of the initial questionnaire in order to analyze the impact of the program on students.

 

  1. There were presented videos and photos from the activity related to the bike tour organized by teachers and students from each school and conducted by each country.

 

  1. The Romania school as our coordinator presented the pooled results of the program and the results after the distribution and process of questionnaires given to participating teachers and students of each school. The final CD with the final products of the program was also distributed.

 

  1. The common part of the final report in detail was discussed, each activity was analyzed and tasks assigned to each partner.

 

  1. There was a discussion on the brochures that were presented by each school and included information on alternative energy sources and 10 smart ways to use energy.

 

  1. In the final brochure was presented by the school in Bulgaria on renewable energy which is a final product of the project.

  1. A presentation and discussion on the final form of the dictionary concerning all sub-themes of the program is completed.

 

  1. There was a discussion on the update and the final form of the website.

 

  1. A study visit to a factory that manufactures biodegradable plastic bags took place.

 

  1. We visited the town hall of Asenovgrad and watched all the activities to celebrate the day of Asenovgrad.

 

  1. Visits to Asen `s Fortress, the Monastery of Bachkovo, in Pamporvo and Plovdiv took place.
