Within the second year of implementation of the European program Leonardo Da Vinci Partnerships entitled "NEW AND ALTERNATIVE TOURISM ENTERPRISES" three teachers of our school visited our partners in Göreme, Turkey between 15 and 20 of June, 2012.

Before the visit there was a brief presentation of the program of the visit and discussion of some practical issues.
The main purpose of the visit was the presentation of all actions and results so far and the detailed presentation of the final products of the program.
 

1. All the activities and results of the program carried out from each institution until the meeting were developed.

2. The common part of the final report in detail was discussed and each activity was analyzed. It will be completed by the coordinator and sent to members.

3. Our part of the booklet concerning our town, the flying club Aiolos in Drama, details of all the project activities and the booklet’s final form Were Presented.

4. A visit to the town hall of Göreme took place where we were accepted by the mayor.

5. An edited video from our partner in Belgium by the company Keiheuvel Airclub dealing with flying activities located near Mol was presented.

6. possible dates for conducting e-seminar (webinar), where guests will be interested firms dealing with flying activities from all over the world were discussed.

7. The results of the competition about business plans were presented and the winner was our school.

8. We presented our website for the program that was developed by our school.

9. The website (http://www.natecappadocia.net/) of the program developed by the project coordinator from Turkey was discussed and presented and agreed to post all the results.

10. We visited the company Anatolian Balloons where a demonstration on the use and operation of hot air balloons took place. On the last day of the visit we had the opportunity to fly with a hot air balloon of Anatolian Balloons Company over the region of Cappadocia, an unforgettable experience that we will spread for the purposes of the program.
 

During our stay, with our Turkish partners, we visited the cities Cavusin, Derunkuyu Underground City, Avanos and NEVŞEHİR, cities of great natural, cultural and historical interest (monuments, castles, cave churches) especially for us of the Greeks.
After our return in Greece an internal planning for the implementation and agreed actions at school took place, while the material gathered from the visit will be published on the school’s website.
